Accredited Investor Qualification
Under SEC Regulation D Rule 501, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Individual income exceeding $200,000 in each of the two most recent years
- Joint income with spouse/partner exceeding $300,000 in each of those years
- Reasonable expectation of reaching the same income level in the current year
- Individual or joint net worth exceeding $1,000,000
- Excludes the value of primary residence
- May include joint assets with spouse or spousal equivalent
- Series 7 (General Securities Representative)
- Series 65 (Investment Adviser Representative)
- Series 82 (Private Securities Offerings Representative)
- Trust with assets exceeding $5,000,000
- Entity with all equity owners being accredited investors
- Family office with at least $5,000,000 in AUM
